Meet The Maker

From the moment they dropped their first batch of chips back in the early days of 1992, all they really wanted to do was make a great potato chip. It started inside a feed store in Middletown, Virginia with a tiny little cooker, a garden rake, a great recipe, some good ole fashioned grit, and a bit of twenty-something delusion. "One thing we knew for sure is that if we made a quality product, there would be people who would want it.".

In 2008, Route 11 Chips moved into a state-of-the-art facility, designed specifically for the small-batch potato chip making process. Integrating green principles into the building's design, they are focused on being as waste-free and transparent a facility as possible.
