Foris Vinyards | Pinot Gris
Oregon's richer take on Pinot Gris, stone fruit, gentle spice, and a creamy, food-friendly finish.
Foris Vineyards is one of southern Oregon's oldest family wineries, established in 1971 in the Applegate Valley, a warm, tucked-away sub-region of the Rogue Valley AVA that produces Pinot Gris of greater body and richness than its Willamette Valley counterparts. The warmer climate allows Pinot Gris to develop more stone fruit character while retaining Oregon's signature freshness.
The wine delivers on that promise: ripe peach, apricot, and pear on the nose, with gentle spice and a warm, round palate that is richer than most Pinot Grigio but clean and food-focused. The finish is creamy and long, this is a wine that works beautifully with seafood, pork, and pasta in cream sauces, and it stands out as a more interesting alternative to standard Pinot Grigio.
Pairs well with: Pork Tenderloin, Seared Scallops, Cream-based Pasta, Soft Cheeses, Asian-influenced Dishes
For the moments that call for white wine with a little more character. Foris delivers.
