BOARD TRACK RACER | CABERNET SAUVIGNON
A smooth, dependable Washington Cabernet with real character, named for the golden age of American racing.
Board Track Racer takes its name from the early 20th-century wooden oval racetracks where motorcycles pushed the limits of speed and daring. The wine shares that spirit: a Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon built for confident, effortless enjoyment rather than careful analysis. Sourced from Columbia Valley vineyards, where the high desert climate, intense sunshine, cool nights, and minimal rainfall, produces Cabernet of concentration and clear varietal character.
The wine offers classic Cab structure with a Washington personality: ripe dark cherry and blackberry on the nose, backed by warm tobacco, cedar, and a touch of vanilla from oak aging. The palate is smooth and approachable, with well-integrated tannins and enough fruit concentration to satisfy without needing food. This is an easy pour for a weeknight steak or a casual gathering, no ceremony required.
Rated 91 points by Wine Enthusiast (2020 vintage).

Meet The Maker
Board Track Racer is made by Mark Ryan McNeilly, who founded Mark Ryan Winery in 1999 in Woodinville, Washington. Self-taught and driven by an obsession with Washington State Cabernet, McNeilly built his winery from nothing into one of the Columbia Valley's most respected labels. Board Track Racer was established in 2007 as a more accessible expression within the Mark Ryan family, designed to deliver genuine Washington Cab character at an honest price. The Columbia Valley, Washington's largest wine-growing region, gives the wine its backbone: intense sunshine, dramatic temperature swings, and well-drained volcanic soils that concentrate flavor naturally.
