In 2000, following the loss of her job as a computer programmer and the trauma of the 9/11 attacks, Sue Charney found comfort in her kitchen by making candy. Sue and her husband, Jack, left San Diego for Charlottesville, Virginia where they grew her hobby into a thriving business.
